Swinging Garden is a piece of interactive furniture designed by Maelyn Lu, Sophia Wan, and Xiangyi Zhong for the NYU Shanghai community, inviting friends to gather, play, and connect. Its playful form encourages communication and shared joy, while the green surface elements evoke the feeling of relaxing outdoors on a lawn. We hope that sitting on Swinging Garden offers the same sense of ease and togetherness as lying in a sunlit yard.
